The Sidney High School Key Club, comprised of more than 70 members, hosted the Sidney Noon Kiwanis meeting November, 16. 

Members served a meal and shared exciting information about the Sidney High School Key Club.

SHS junior, Brooklyn Koester, noticed that some of her friends and classmates would not always have period products during an unexpected emergency and might have to miss class or leave school.

When she started to research this more, she realized attendance can increase when free period products are offered in schools so she created Club Red Shelby County to raise money and awareness about period poverty and provide products for free at Sidney High School.

8 Sidney High School seniors stand in a row—these seniors earned the highest academic distinction of Summa Cum Laude..

Sidney High School Class of 2022 seniors were recently for their academic honors at the end of the school year. 

The highest honors went to eight members of the SHS Class of 2022 who earned the Summa Cum Laude distinction including Landon Davis, Kaitlyn Deal, Nathaniel Gailey, Marco Orozco, Quinton Skelly, Jenna Smith, Carson Taylor, and Ava Westfall, To earn this distinction, students had to achieve a cumulative GPA of 4.25 or greater and meet the criteria of an Honors Diploma.
