Curriculum & Instruction
The Curriculum & Instruction department is responsible for developing and modifying the district's course of study, recommendation and purchase of textbooks, teacher certifications, staff support, and professional development.
Curriculum & Instruction staff collaborate with teachers throughout the district to create and implement curriculum in all content areas for students in preschool through 12th grade to meet state standards for learning.
Additionally, they support the assessment of student learning at both the local and state levels.
The Curriculum & Instruction department supports teachers and staff through professional development to extend their knowledge of best practices as well as to continue to grow as learners themselves.
